conference location.

The home of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois is the Thomas M. Siebel Center for Computer Science, a $64M state-of-the-art building that opened its doors in 2004. Architect Peter Bohlin designed the building as a vibrant space that encourages collaboration. Open areas, pervaded by natural light, and informal meeting places sprinkled throughout provide ample opportunities for people to encounter each other. Private offices, quiet spaces, research and instructional labs, classrooms, seminar and conference rooms, a 200-seat auditorium, and a coffee shop fill the interior.

The frontline technology of the building has ultimately led some publications to ask whether or not the Siebel Center at the University of Illinois is the “Worlds Smartest Building?”

We are proud to host the 2006 Midwest ITASA Conference at the Thomas M. Siebel Center.
