What is Footprints

Footprints is an annual scholarship competition, hosted by ITASA's Philanthropy Department. The goal is to promote Taiwanese American Culture while offering cash prizes to students.
This year’s prompt:
"Everyone has many identities, whether they are political, cultural, or ideological. Create a descriptive narrative that describes who you are. How has being Taiwanese American affected your various other identities? What type of obstacles have you encountered due to your identities, and how did you overcome them?”

Submission may take form in:
Art, Music, Video or Essay

Prize Money: $200

What is ITASA

The Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Student Association (ITASA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting college students from across the country to the budding Taiwanese American community. Our goal is to build a national network of people passionate about Taiwan while educating and empowering the next generation of our nation’s leaders in the process.
