What will participating in this conference cost me?
Total conference cost = Registration + T-shirt + Housing + Transportation (+ extra Night Market $)
Your registration payment will cover your welcome packet, workshop materials, brunch, Night Market tickets, breakfast, lunch, dinner banquet, and entrance to the afterparty. The registration cost at any of the three rates is a definite deal!

Do you desire a conference souvenir by which to remember the awesome ITASA 2009 West Coast Conference? If so, you can order a conference T-shirt (American Apparel!) for $9 at the time of registration! T-shirts will be distributed during check-in. The T-shirt colors haven't been determined yet (most likely gold with black print), but here is the design! If you don't order a T-shirt online, there are no guarantees you can buy one at your size at the conference site... |

The deadline for registering with us for these group rates is 3/1/2009. If we run out of spots, you are still free to reserve rooms on your own, but normal rates are $119/night plus tax for a double queen bed room. A double bed room can accomodate 4 people and a family suite can accomodate 6 people. Vagabond Inn is located slightly more than one block away from USC. Check-out of the hotel is on Sunday at noon. The 3-night option is recommended for those expecting to arrive in LA Thursday night/very early Friday morning. The 3-night option is also recommended for those not wishing to drag luggage around until Friday afternoon (earliest check-in time is 2pm). Since we have an odd number of family rooms reserved and ITASA prohibits co-ed rooms, you may expect a slight delay in your registration if you register with that option. |

THE REGISTRATION PROCESS
When you register, you will be paying for registration, a t-shirt (optional), and housing. You should also have an idea of how you will be arriving (bus, train, airplane, car, etc.), if not details of your transportation method. If you need a ride to USC campus from LAX or Union Station (after USC tram hours), you will need to let us know when you register.
When we receive your registration materials (both the form and the payment), we will send you a confirmation email. If the housing you applied for is unavailable, we will promply let you know by phone and e-mail, and void the payment.
Online registration. For now, the registration form can only be submitted electronically. Online payment will be conducted through Google Checkout, and will be subject to a 3% transaction fee. If you do not use Google Checkout, you may submit your payment via check. Checks can be made payable to ITASA WCC 2009. (Our mailing address is on the contact page. Alternatively, you may hand your check to an ITASA WCC board member.) Registration will be complete only after appropriate payment on Google Checkout. If there is discrepancy between the the registration form and the payment total, your registration will be void until the issue is resolved.

NOTE ABOUT HOUSING: If you see there are no more student hosts available/we inform you so, you can register with the Vagabond Inn option (if the date is 3/1/09 or earlier) and request to be put on the waitlist to live with a student host. We will notify you as soon as a slot opens up, and we will give you a housing refund when you check in at the conference. We can not guarantee another student host will be available, however.
Step 2)) Click here to order items as listed on your registration form! Registration will be finalized only after payment is received!
Step 3)) This step is optional, and only needs to be completed if we currently do not offer the housing you need. Click here to add your name to the wait list for housing with USC students, or here to add your name to the wait list for housing at Vagabond Inn.
REFUND POLICY
If for any reason you discover you are unable to attend the conference after submitting your registration materials, send an email to yawenche@usc.edu. The refund policy is as follows:

If your housing situation changes at any point, ie. you requested a hotel room through us but no longer need it, it is your responsibility to let us know as soon as possible. If we are able to find someone to take your spot, we will return your housing costs when you check in at the conference. We can guarantee a full housing refund before 03/18/09.
